Severely burned after rescuing his girlfriend from a burning bar in Crans-Montana, Metz defender Tahirys Dos Santos returned to the public eye on Sunday, taking part in a ceremonial kick-off alongside his partner and fellow survivor, Luxembourg national Eliot Thelen.
